Jasmine Schwadron was a vital part of the Ocean Research & Conservation Association team — an Education Specialist who brought passion, creativity, and warmth to everything she did. She was a dedicated educator, a thoughtful teammate, and a bright light within our organization. Whether she was leading students through hands-on learning experiences or working behind the scenes to make our programs more impactful, Jasmine gave her whole heart to the mission of environmental education and stewardship.
Her enthusiasm for science, her compassion for others, and her deep love for our waters left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her. Jasmine’s legacy lives on in the lives she touched and in the important work we carry forward in her honor.
She is deeply missed — as a colleague, a mentor, and most of all, as a friend.

To honor her memory and continue the work she so passionately championed, we have established the ORCA Environmental Science Scholarship in Memory of Jasmine Schwadron. This scholarship will support future environmental educators and scientists who share Jasmine’s dedication to protecting our planet. If you would like to contribute to the scholarship, you may do so online by clicking here or by mailing a check to Ocean Research & Conservation Association (ORCA) at 1235 16th Street, Vero Beach, FL 32960. Please include “Jasmine Scholarship” in the memo line.
