ORCA AND PARTNERS DISCUSS CONSERVATION STRATEGIES
On Wednesday, September 30, 2009 a facilitated meeting involving agricultural landowners along with local and national experts on our regions ecosystems, was held at the Florida Cattlemen’s Association office in Kissimmee, FL. At this meeting, the Ocean Research & Conservation Association and its partners sought opinions and advice in identifying common sense conservation strategies capable of improving Florida’s coastal ecosystems, while also vigorously protecting the rights and business interests of its major land owners.
The forum was made possible through the generous support of the Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties.
