ORCA Annual Report 2011-2012
Thanks to the increased generous support of individual donors and the on-going support of foundations and private agencies, 2011 and 2012 were full of innovation and expansion for ORCA. With this support, ORCA has increased monitoring of our treasured waterways and continues to make strides in our technologies to reduce costs and increase production. Despite tough economic times, ORCA's program efficiency remains high as we make every effort to use funds to benefit our technology and conservation programs.

2010 was a productive year for ORCA thanks to the significant commitment of individual donors and on-going support from foundations and government agencies who understand the importance of preserving and protecting our waters. Revenues increased 10% overall, while overall expenses decreased 5%. Despite world economic conditions and the increasing cost of business in today's economy, our program efficiency is still high with 75 cents from every dollar spent on programs.

ORCA Annual Report 2008-2009
In 2008, ORCA generated revenues from a balanced array of government agencies, private foundations and individuals. This healthy diversity of support enabled us to close our 2008 fiscal year with an operating surplus. As with most companies—commercial and nonprofit alike—the global economic downturn of 2009 presented significant challenges. Multi-billion-dollar shortfalls in Florida's state budget left little room for the state's environmental agencies to continue their support of our Kilroy program. However, ORCA's growing group of individual and foundation supporters rose to the challenge, almost entirely overcoming shortfalls in government funding targets.
